Sabah Creative Economy and Innovation Centre (SCEIC) had organised “Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development Goals” programme on July 25, 2020 at a hotel in Inanam.

The workshop is the first social entrepreneurship (SE) programme in Sabah and was attended by 40 entrepreneurs across the state despite the strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The talks were delivered by two SEs, Grow the Goose founder Nina Othman and Anja Juliah Abu Bakar, the founder of Athena Holdings.

The participants were introduced to the “Do Good, Make Profit, Repeat” concept and also on how social innovation and SE can help tackle social and environmental challenges.
